Installing custom maps expands the variety of the battlefield beyond the base scenarios included in Over The Top: WWI. These community-created environments allow administrators to host unique historical battles or creative trench layouts. Integrating fresh terrain keeps the active population engaged by requiring novel tactical approaches and defensive strategies. Custom environments extend the lifespan of the multiplayer server by offering a continuous stream of diverse warfare experiences.
1. Choose a public collection on the Steam Workshop. Learn how to create a collection here.
2. Copy the Workshop ID from the address bar.
3. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
4. Stop the server.
5. Go to the Startup tab.
6. In the Workshop Collection ID field, paste the Workshop ID from step 2.
7. Start the server.
