Setting the season on a Vintage Story server allows for immediate control over the environmental cycle, ensuring that the world's climate aligns with specific gameplay or event goals. This adjustment is crucial for managing agricultural productivity and the difficulty of survival, as it dictates temperature ranges and crop growth patterns for all players. By manually defining the current season, administrators can skip harsh winters or extend harvesting periods to maintain a desired pace of progression.
Note: The season can be set manually upon creating a new world. Learn how to create a new world here.
