Veloren servers come with the ability to form player groups with others. Groups allow players to share experience, as well as see other group members on the map. Server owners can also configure the maximum group sizes, which can significantly reduce steamrolling and mass grouping. Groups can significantly enhance gameplay for both private and public servers, enabling friends and like-minded users to collaborate and earn rewards.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Choose the Config Files dropdown menu and select Server Config.
4. Change the max_player_group_size: value as desired.
5. Once finished editing, choose Save.
6. Start the server.
How to Create a Group
1. When connected to the server, press Enter to open the chatbox.
2. Enter /help into the chatbox to view a list of commands. A list of commands specific to groups can also be found in the table below.
