A Veloren server world can be generated with an existing world seed. This is a helpful feature for players who want to start over with the benefits of a dedicated server while retaining their existing world generations. The world seed can only be adjusted for new worlds, and the setting can be found among other configuration options, such as Day Length.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Choose the Config Files dropdown menu and select Server Config.
4. Navigate to the world_seed line.
5. Enter the desired World Seed.
6. Once finished editing, choose Save.
Note: If the server has been run once, steps 7-9 are required.
7. Go to the Files tab.
8. Find the following directory: /home/container/userdata/server.
9. Delete the rtsim and saves folders to generate a new world.
10. Start the server.
