SCP: 5K servers have numerous settings that can be modified to affect general server gameplay. By adjusting the zombie spawns, players can create a more tense or relaxed experience on the server. Users can also modify other server settings, such as friendly fire or the active map, creating an entirely different experience from server to server.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose Server Config.
4. On the Zombie settings, modify the desired values.
The ZombieSpawnAmount line will multiply zombie spawns. (e.g, a value of 2.000000 would double the zombie spawns.)
The ResetZombieSpawners line can be set to True to periodically reset spawners, which can help server performance.
The ZombieRespawnTime line will set how frequently zombies respawn in seconds.
5. Press Save.
6. Start the server.
