Changing the Starbase panel server hosting location is often done to reduce latency (ping), which is the most critical factor for a smooth gaming experience. Moving the server closer to the majority of its players minimizes the physical distance data must travel, resulting in quicker response times, reduced lag, and a more competitive environment. Ultimately, migrating the server location aims to deliver a faster, more reliable experience.
