The Legacy version of The Isle refers to the original, early access iteration of the multiplayer dinosaur survival game The Isle. Legacy was known for its raw and often glitchy gameplay. Still, it developed a dedicated community due to its immersive environment, intense player-versus-player interactions, and the challenge of surviving as a prehistoric animal. Although many players have migrated to Evrima for the updated experience, some still prefer the Legacy version for its nostalgia and unique, chaotic charm. The Legacy version remains accessible but is no longer actively updated or supported by the developers.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Under Installed, select Swap Game.
4. Select The Isle.
5. Choose The Isle - Legacy.
6. Select what to do with the existing files and hit Next.
7. Click Confirm.
8. Start the server.
