In the Sons of the Forest server, players are introduced to a new gameplay mechanic that involves disabling tree regrowth. Note: Tree regrowth is on by default with a 10% chance to randomly regrow when you sleep.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Find the following directory: /home/container/serverconfig
5. Choose dedicatedserver.cfg.
6. From the "GameSettings" brackets, enter the following: "Gameplay.TreeRegrowth": false
Note: Separate multiple codes with a comma.
7. Press the Save button.
8. Start the server.
