Editing the map size on an SCP: Containment Breach 2 server allows hosts to control the scale of the gameplay environment. A smaller map can create a more intense, fast-paced experience with frequent player encounters and limited hiding spots, perfect for competitive play or quicker rounds. Conversely, a larger map encourages exploration and tactical movement and can accommodate more players and a wider variety of SCPs, offering a more sprawling and diverse survival horror experience. This customization ensures that the map's layout and size match the desired game flow and player count.
