Schedule 1 has many mods available from sites like Nexus, many of which utilize MelonLoader, a popular modding tool for Unity games. Since neither dedicated servers nor mods are officially supported yet, many mods will not work on servers. However, users can still use the MelonLoader installer on the starbase panel. This can be helpful when uploading saves with mods, provided they are compatible.
Note: Most mods are incompatible with dedicated servers. If issues occur, try removing any installed MelonLoader mods.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Enable MelonLoader Support table, choose Enabled.
5. Start the server.
6. Once fully started, stop the server.
7. Go to the Files tab.
8. Open the MelonLoader-Mods folder.
9. Upload any .dll mod files into the folder.
10. Start the server.
How to Install Mods on a Schedule 1 Client
1. Download MelonLoader here.
2. Run MelonLoader.Installer.exe.
3. Choose Schedule 1.
4. Under Select a version, pick 0.70.
Note: It is currently recommended to use MelonLoader version 0.7.0 as 0.7.1 breaks mods.
5. Press Install.
6. Click OK.
7. From the Steam Library, right-click Schedule 1, hover over Manage, and select Browse local files.
8. Drag and drop mod .dll files into the Mods folder.
Note: For dedicated servers, the server mod must be installed or reinstalled after MelonLoader.
