Rust servers contain large, expansive maps that players can explore and settle on to build elaborate fortresses, shops, or communities. A server whitelist creates a hand-picked community for a Rust server, allowing for more opportunities to be creative, roleplay, or host content creation servers. Users can easily add players to the whitelist via commands through the BisectHosting Starbase panel and the in-game console.
1. Download the Whitelist Rust mod here.
2. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
3. Stop the server.
4. Go to the Files tab.
5. Find the following directory: /home/containers/oxide/plugins .
6. Upload the Whitelist.cs file from step 1.
7. Start the server.
8. Go to the Console tab.
9. Enter the following command: oxide.grant user [SteamID64] whitelist.allow
Note: Learn how to find SteamID64 here.
