Enabling an admin whitelist on a Renown server is a critical security measure that restricts server access to a select group of trusted individuals. This feature helps prevent unauthorized users, including trolls, griefers, and hackers, from joining the server and causing disruption. By only allowing whitelisted administrators to connect, it ensures a more controlled and secure environment, protecting the server's integrity and community.
Note: The admin whitelist allows only specific players to open the admin panel after entering the admin password.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Start the server.
3. Go to the Console tab.
4. Enter the following command with the desired SteamID64: addadmin SteamID64

5. Stop the server.
6. Once entirely stopped, start the server.
7. Go to the Console tab.
8. Enter the following command: getadminwhitelist
Note: Use
removeadmin SteamID64to remove the player from the admin whitelist, then restart the server.
