Palworld includes a dropped item decay system where items left on the ground gradually disappear over time. This feature encourages players to collect resources and items they drop during their gameplay promptly. Managing dropped items is crucial to prevent loss and ensure effective resource utilization within the game.
Note: The world will also delete an item if it exceeds the dropped-item maximum value. Learn how to edit dropped-item max value here.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Under the Config Files tab, select Server Settings.
4. On the DropItemAliveMaxHours line, edit the desired value from 0.0 to 240.0.
Note: A dropped item that has decayed before may reappear when the value is increased.
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
