How to Setup RCON on a Starbound Server

1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.

2. Stop the server.

3. Go to the Network tab.

4. Copy any server port excluding the first listed.

5. Select the Config Files tab and choose Server Config.

6. On the runRconServer line, set the value to true.

7. On the rconServerPort line, change the value to the port copied in step 4.

8. On the rconServerPassword line, input a password between the quotations.

9. Press the Save button.

10. Start the server.

How to Connect to RCON on a Starbound Server

1. Download the SourceDS RCON tool.

2. Extract the .zip file into an empty folder.

3. Launch srcdsrcon.exe.

4. From the top-left, choose Console and click Servers.

5. Select Add.

6. Enter the required information.

7. Select Consoles and choose Servers to open the newly added server.

8. The text New Session will appear when all steps are done correctly.
