Enabling friendly fire on an Operation: Harsh Doorstop server increases realism and tactical depth, as players must consider their shots carefully to avoid harming teammates. Friendly fire can lead to more immersive gameplay and coordinated strategies but also introduces frustration if accidental team kills are frequent. Turning off friendly fire, conversely, allows for more chaotic engagements without penalty for stray bullets, making the game more accessible and less punishing for new players or those who prefer a more relaxed experience.
