Uploading an Astroneer save to a server can allow players to continue where they left off in single-player or co-op games but in a more publicly available setting. It can also let progress or custom worlds be made locally and then uploaded to the server, retaining all settings. This is especially useful for custom games, as they have many different starting scenarios offering a wide range of gameplay.
Note: Launch the Astroneer Server once when installing the game for the first time to generate config files.
