Multi Theft Auto servers can have varying numbers of players, depending on the maximum allowed. While more players typically require higher server requirements, players can also lower the player cap to run servers with lower RAM. Users can also restrict their server with a password to allow access only to users with the login. Users can decide on smaller or larger servers depending on the type of server they'd like to make.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Files tab.
4. Find the following directory: /home/container/mods/deathmatch .
5. Open the mtaserver.conf file.
6. On the <maxplayers> line, change the value to adjust the player cap.
7. Once finished editing, choose Save.
8. Start the server.
