Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord allows players to access the developer console by modifying the engine config. By enabling 'cheat mode,' players can access various commands for use in single-player and multiplayer servers. In single-player, players can use cheat mode to enable various hotkeys that can speed up time, award money or experience, and provide a menu with all items in the game for players to take from.
1. Open the File Explorer.
2. Find the following local directory: /[User]/Documents/Mount and Blade II Bannerlord/Configs .
3. Open the engine_config.txt file.
4. Change the cheat_mode setting from 0 to 1.
5. Save the file.
6. Open the console in-game by pressing the Alt + Tilde (~) keys.
