Assetto Corsa is a racing sim game with many different vehicles and multiple tracks to choose from. In addition, Assetto Corsa is heavily supported by the community, allowing for mods to add cars, tracks, and AI traffic, as well as many others. This guide highlights a direct connect method to circumvent the in-game server browser. Players are put directly into the game using the direct connect method and can start racing immediately.
Requirement: A race must be started through the Assetto Corsa server web panel before connecting.

Note: A server name is required when using the server-browser. Learn how to change the server name here.
How to Join an Assetto Corsa Server
1. Launch the game from the Steam library.
2. Choose Main Menu.
3. Select the Drive Menu from the top-left.
4. Go to the Online tab.
5. Search for the name of the server.
Note: If the server is not appearing, try using the direct connect method below.
6. Select the server and choose a car. Enter a password if needed.
7. Press Join to connect to the server.
How to Directly Connect to an Assetto Corsa Server
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Copy the IP Address from the Home tab.
3. From the local Run menu, enter the following file path: /Documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg .
4. Open the race.ini file with a text editor.
5. Next to the Server_IP= line, paste the IP Address from step 2.
6. Save the text file.
7. From the Steam Library, right-click Assetto Corsa and choose Properties.
8. In the Launch Options field, enter /spawn.
