American Truck Simulator servers are a great way to welcome like-minded drivers and host large groups of players. By setting a welcome message on a server, users can inform their players about server info like custom radio stations and Discord links, or simply welcome any players who join. The welcome message is set in the server's configuration file, which also contains other settings, such as traffic control, allowing server owners to fine-tune and customize the server to their liking.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Select the Config Files tab and choose Server Config.
4. From the welcome_message: line, set the desired text within the quotation marks.
5. Press the Save button.
6. Start the server.
7. The message will be displayed in the in-game chat.
