Adding admins to an Aloft server ensures smooth community management by allowing trusted individuals to address issues like rule enforcement, conflict resolution, and technical problems. Admins can also oversee server events, moderate player behavior, and maintain a welcoming environment, fostering a positive user experience. Admins help the server run efficiently by sharing responsibilities, even when the owner is unavailable.
Requirement: Do not interrupt the first boot of the server after adding an admin. Initial boot interrupts will require a server reinstall.
1. Log in to the BisectHosting Starbase panel.
2. Stop the server.
3. Go to the Startup tab.
4. From the Admin Players field, input the desired SteamID64 ending with a # sign. Learn how to find SteamID64 here.
5. Start the server.
