Foundry requires multiple resources to start base building and production. One of the first components available to players is the machinery part, a required component in making production facilities and many other buildings in the game. These parts can eventually be processed and created automatically. However, players must create them manually until they can set up a Conveyor and Loader. After automating their creation, players can start building facilities more efficiently to help speed up production.
1. From the Crafting menu, go to the Components section.
2. Machinery parts require Xenoferrite Plates to craft.
3. Use the smelter at the back of the Drop Pod to create plates.
4. Xenoferrite Plates require Xenoferrite Ore Rubble to craft.
5. After acquiring the plates, select Machinery Parts.
